Approximately 16 % of all premature bearing failures are caused by incorrect mounting. The SKF TMFT 36 kit with impact rings is designed for quick and accurate mounting of bearings while reducing the risk of bearing failures occurring. The correct combination of impact ring and sleeve provides efficient transmission of the mounting force to the bearing ring with the interference fit, which minimises the risk of damage to the bearing raceways and rolling elements. The kit contains 36 impact rings, 3 impact sleeves and a dead-blow mallet. TMFT 36 can also be used for mounting bushings, seals and pulleys.
